MRI is looking for a high-octane **Sales Development Representative (SDR)** who is ready to push the pedal to the metal The SDR will be responsible for generating business development pipeline and growth within our existing customers and new prospects. In mid-2019, the MCI team (previously known as Leverton) were acquired by MRI Software - the leading provider of enterprise grade real estate software solutions to the market. You will be working at a startup within a larger organization with one mission: increase adoption of our AI platform Our Sales Development Representatives requires on-your-feet creative thinking, hustle, and execution for a platform that is already in the hands of over 5,000 users.
If you’re looking to be challenged, learn a lot, and make a lot of money, we’d love to hear from you This is a full-time position working out of our Johannesburg office (currently hybrid office hours). Remuneration is both a healthy base and success commission.
**Role Description**:
- Top of the sales funnel focus
- Generate an outbound sales and marketing strategy
- Work closely with marketing to generate campaigns, webinars and sector specific materials
- Generate an inbound sales and marketing strategy to target existing clients
- Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives
- Execute on these strategies
- Report on success of campaigns, adjust and re-launch
- Bring new ideas to the table
- Front line qualification and discovery of generated leads
- Provide a clear, compelling, and articulate explanation of our product value
- Generate qualified opportunities that can be handed over to the sales execution team
- Probe for business “gap” and pre-qualify need and decision authority
- Schedule and attend appointments for Sales Representative
- Maintain and add information to Salesforce in a prescribed manner
- Must be tech savvy and able to work on the move
- Willing to challenging people to work better and look at new solutions
- Must be willing to attend sector and regional conferences and rub shoulders with industry professionals
- Perform all duties and achieve quota and activity goals as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Systems to be used; all things Microsoft, Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn and we are open any new platforms that might be beneficial
**Requirements and skills**:
- BCom or BA degree (Business management, Finance, Marketing etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Passport and Drivers License
- Able and willing to travel
- Some work experience would be advantageous
- Active and socially engaged individual
