SEO Account Manager

As a member of our Growth team, you'll help our Head of Growth execute large-scale, high-impact SEO campaigns, working with established companies from various industries, including fintech, HR, legal, and e-comm. You'll learn all of our team's best practices to take projects from 0 to 100,000+ organics/month.
We don't work on dozens of projects. We work with a handful of brands that are, or want to be, category leaders, including some brands you've heard of. The work that you do will be impactful and visible.
What you will work on
**Account Management**
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters
- Contributing to and running external meetings with clients
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Preparing agendas and action items for internal team meetings and external meetings with clients
- Tracking projects and providing regular reports on project status to the project team and key stakeholders
- Contributing to and creating new account management processes and documentation
- Attending and contributing to internal team meetings
- Tracking and assigning project-related action items assigned to internal and external stakeholders
**Strategy and Execution**
- Participate in developing content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles, and responsibilities.
- Providing recommendations and support in the development of content strategy.
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on website analytics.
- Executing SEO processes, including keyword research, topic selection, internal link implementation, and technical SEO tasks.
- Conducting competition analysis and derivation of trends.
- Supporting team members in executing client-facing deliverables.
- Regularly monitor KPIs, metrics, and statuses across all external projects and report to management
**Experience and Capabilities**
- 3+ years of work experience closely working with external stakeholders (clients)
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- 3+ years of work experience in content marketing and SEO
- Proven track record of successful SEO campaigns
- Work experience in Project Management
- Experienced in data analysis via Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Extensive experience in doing keyword research and creating content calendars and strategies
- Proficiency in the English language
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with mínimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team
- **Able to work during CET hours (at least partly); able to work partial EST hours (1-2 days a week)**
**Good to have but not necessary**
- Advanced data analysis using Google Sheets (Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of SEO/SEM tools: Ahrefs/Semrush, ScreamingFrog/DeepCrawl (Lumar)
- Experience with AI writers: chatGPT, Surfer, Claude, etc
- Experience in using scraping tools and methods

- Meet with the leadership team
- Regularly meet with your direct manager — Head of Growth
**First 90 days**
- Write 3 client monthly reports
- Start attending client meetings, taking notes, and sending recaps
- Begin doing keyword research and topic selection
- Run your first SEO Audit
- Write 10 SOP
- Self-report your work via sprints
- Take ownership of project logs
- Start tracking external sprint items independently
- Begin demonstrating Content Distribution Values
**First 180 days**
- Demonstrate Content Distribution Values
- Take ownership of all client and internal project-related communication
- Take ownership of client-facing meetings for 4 projects
- Independently track external sprint items
- Independently execute core deliverables, including Keyword research, Topic Selection, Project documentation, and other
- Write 20 SOPs
