Marketing & PR Specialist: Legal: Personal Injury

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribution to and implementation of the marketing plan, with a view to acquisition of clients
- Interacting with potential sponsors for the disability sector
- Conceptualise and outsource artwork for our various marketing activities
- Produce marketing collateral
- PR - engaging with radio and TV to open doors for interviews and knowledge sharing
- Social media: content strategy, implementation, and community management
- Proofreading all marketing materials including those created by outside agencies
- Relationship management with previous clients and existing clients
- Client and partner engagement
- Willing to be involved in various other aspects of the firm’s activities
- Updating and maintenance of the firm’s website.

**Requirements**:

- Matric certificate
- Three-year Marketing Degree/Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in marketing (some sales experience is an advantage)
- Social Media experience
- Familiar with website CMS (uploading website content)
- Marketing experience in legal, medical and disability sectors, advantageous
- Strong Communication skills
- Writing skills - advantageous
- Comfortable liaising with clients, senior attorneys, media etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of clients of all ages, races, and stages of life, able to make clients feel comfortable, both in person and over the phone
- Empathetic side and a will to make a difference in lives of the severely injured
- Able to manage difficult situations and personalities in a calm and rational manner
- The ability to sell concepts or sponsorship
- Driven, conscientious, strong, persuasive
- A people’s person.
