We have an opening for an experienced public relations professional with a proven track record of successful account management to work on one of our most dynamic accounts.
**Responsibilities include**: Planning, development and administration of the PR programme which may include, but is not limited to, developing PR strategies, developing news angles, creating and managing PR timelines, managing influencer campaigns, creating influencer marketing reports, research and copywriting press releases and Q&As, developing editorial content to use as a PR tool, researching and developing media lists per press release, pitching to media lists per press release, securing editorial placement in print, broadcast and digital channels, managing media enquiries, media tracking and reporting, monthly reports, co-ordination, distribution and administration of PR samples as required, client meetings as required, media event co-ordination, guest list development and management, managing media giveaways, media seeding, advertorial negotiation and management, media liaison and itineraries for media and influencer travel.

**Requirements**:
Tertiary qualification in PR, journalism, or media and communications with influencer marketing experience essential.
Three years + PR experience within an agency or in-house at a company, at account manager level. Experience at managing influencer campaigns essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of and/or a passion for sport and/or the fashion retail sector an advantage.

Exceptional time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent newswriting and editing skills
Able to pinpoint news angles and generate story ideas
Able to package and pitch editorial content to media
Able to develop innovative PR tactics and activation ideas
Presentation skills
An excellent knowledge of South Africa’s media landscape
Ability to manage projects and report daily to clients
Ability to work within a team
Ability to confidently manage client relationships
Ability to plan and execute media events and PR activations
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
