POSITION: QUALITY CONTROLLER

About the Position:
We are looking for a **Quality Controller**responsible for monitoring the manufacturing and production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards

Working Conditions:

- Contract type: Permanent
- Overtime hours are applicable for this role.
- Number of positions: One (1)
- Location of position: Honeydew, Johannesburg

The position will be responsible for:

- Monitor all production lines and ensure that all lines/areas are clean and free of foreign material before the production process starts as per company quality standards.
- Monitor and ensure that the Process Control parameters pertaining to recipe adherence, product specifications and critical control points (CCP) are adhered to and implemented as per company quality standards.
- Monitor and ensure that all products in the company comply with the product specifications as determined by the company and its clients.
- Work in conjunction with the Food Technologist as means to decrease product defects and related client complaints as per the company quality standards.
- Collection of retention samples and monitor as per required shelf life.
- Assist Food Technologist with collection of sales samples or any other related samples
- Assist Food Technologist in Quality and Process Control training
- Assist RND Manager with Adhoc product trials as and when required

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the below requirements:

- Grade 12
- 1 Year working experience in manufacturing industry
- Knowledgeable and must understand the basic concepts on quality assurance, such as quality control principles, methods and systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
