**Requirements**:
Matric
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Minimum 5 years experience in an Operations Manager/ Technical Manager role
Must come from a Solar/ Renewable Energy background **not negotiable**
Must have solar installations experience **not negotiable**
Team Management and Budget Management experience

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Complete technical spec. for each installation as per project requirement
Work with procurement specialist to initiate procurement process
Follow-up to ensure ordered stock per project arrives before pre-rigging
Planning of organisational projects and maintaining timelines
Ensuring that all projects are running within spec, time and budget
Oversee pre-installation of the rigs
Update the firmware and test the system with solar power
Oversee Packing of boxes to ensure no breakages happen and all raw materials arrive at site on time
Ensure that contractors are properly briefed before a project is commenced
Contractor management and selection of appropriate contractors to meet project spec/need.
Manage all operational project logistics before, during and after the project.
Holding site meetings regularly
Oversee all project installations
Ensure installation teams arrive at site on time
Manage site staff and third party contractors
Management of all staff in the operations team.
Implement appropriate level disciplinary action and performance management.
