They pride themselves on customer partnership, sustainability, and continuous improvement.The Role: Technical Account ManagerThis role combines technical support, account management, and business development. You'll serve as the key point of contact for clients across KwaZulu-Natal and surrounding regions, ensuring customer satisfaction through technical guidance, training, and operational excellence. You'll also support regional growth by driving market share and strengthening client relationships within the refinish collision segment.Key ResponsibilitiesMinimum 5 years experience in technical support or customer service within the refinish collision industryQualified spray painter certification essentialProvide first-line technical support, including audits, ratio analyses, and training plansConduct product demonstrations and technical sessions for distributors and MBRs (Manufacturer-Approved Body Repairers)Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business retention and growthExecute segment strategies and contribute to achieving regional targetsGather and report competitive intelligence at distributor and MBR levelsSupport business reviews and update clients on new tools, products, and proposalsEnsure delivery of regional sales and performance objectivesAbout You5+ years of relevant industry experience in the refinish collision or coatings sectorQualified spray painter with strong technical knowledge of MBR and distributor operationsExcellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsCommercially astute with proven ability to meet financial and growth targetsProficient in Microsoft Office and collision software systemsSelf-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple accountsWillingness to travel locally and internationallyCollaborative, results-driven, and strategic in approach
