- Ensure the effective management and control of project assets through configuration management processes. By establishing and maintaining standardized procedures, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading a team of specialists, the Configurations Lead ensures that project assets such as documents, software, and hardware are consistently managed, tracked, and controlled throughout the project lifecycle. This helps to mitigate risks, improve efficiency, and ultimately contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality products or services aligned with project objectives.**Requirements**:
- Matric or equivalent
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration would be advantageous
- Learning configuration management tools, processes, change management, project management methodologies, quality assurance, compliance, leadership, communication, and continuous improvement would be advantageous
- Certification in configuration management or project management (e.g., CMP, PMP) would be advantageous
- Attended a MMI accredited Leadership course is advantageous
- A good understanding of the healthcare industry i.e. trends, competitors and legislation.
- 3 - 5 years management experience in configuration management environment is essential.
- Previous experience or knowledge of the financial services, insurance and health care industry would be advantageous.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Configuration Management Plans outlining strategies, processes and procedures.
- Configuration Baselines for reference points in change control and version management.
- Configuration Documentation including item descriptions, change logs and version histories.
- Change Management Records documenting proposed changes, approvals and implementation plans.
- Configuration Audits and Reviews reports assessing completeness, correctness and integrity.
- To ensure a strong innovation focus within our Configuration Management offering.
- Meet and exceed all SLA's.
- Forecasting, budget control and resource planning.
- Provide meaningful and relevant appropriate reporting on Configuration Management functions and trends as required.
- Ensure that all strategic, operational and contractual obligations are met and also accurately reported on.
- Being the custodian of the Configuration Management escalation matrix in BSS.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining great staff morale.
- Developing highly motivated and dedicated teams.
- Ensuring adequate training and development of all staff.
- Instilling a performance driven culture.
- Inspiring collaboration within the broader MHS Management team and wider business units.
- Assisting and supporting the Head of Operations and Head of BSS strategy to meet business needs of clients.
- Operational Support to wellness coach, case management and disease risk management team collectively known as the Health Risk Management team.
- Facilitate and supervise the proficient implementation of the health risk management, Operational Management and products strategy.
- Maintain professional communication between MHS and members, providers, schemes and other healthcare professionals within the context of MHS's risk management process.
- Develop, maintain and update business processes for service delivery in line with product design and customer-specific segment requirements.
- Take accountability for all audit and risk management requirements as required.
- Provide clinical input and assistance where required in the business.
- Insight into and an understanding of the importance of industry issues and its implication on the operational areas and incorporating required changes.
- Provide support to segments and channels on operational queries and escalations.
- Ensure that quality indicators are implemented and appropriately measured.
