- Knowledge of Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP)

Key Performance Areas
- Responsible for effective and efficient management and

administration of tenders/contracts and other non-procurement

contracts for the IS&T Distributed Computing Branch
- Support, guide and advise stakeholders on contract management

excellence across the organisation
- Plan and implement all deliverables in accordance with the

Contract Management Framework principles and practices
- Ensure monitoring, tracking and reporting of tenders and contracts

throughout the contract lifecycle
- Ensure that City policy, procedures and directives in regard to

procurement and contract management are adhered to and

communicated to relevant stakeholders
- Keep abreast of new legislation, government policy, best practice

and relevant external factors relevant to procurement and

contracting activities
- Ensure sustained tender coverage resulting in effective tender

awards
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance and performance excellence

for the IS&T Distributing Computing Branch
- Ensure stakeholder relationship management and engagement of

both internal and external stakeholders involved in tender

implementation, tender management and/or contract

management roles and responsibilities
- Supervise and manage staff in the performance and execution of

duties.
