Key Performance areas

Sales revenue
- Drive sales revenue in line with the sales budget.
- Visit customers and relevant stakeholders to follow through on their sales funnels.
- Assist in the planning and execution of technical support for customers.
- Preparation and delivering of presentations to customers.

Bid preparation
- Source information for incoming and advertised bids.
- Attend tender briefings.
- Prepare bids and ensure that they are submitted on time.
- Attend to RFQ in line with requirements.

Marketing
- Manage signalling marketing activities.
- Investigate and manage new growth opportunities.
- Manage stakeholders in the identified markets.
- Represent the Company in the railway industry, conferences and exhibitions and build market contacts at these events.
- Contribute in communication platforms of the Company.
- Provide input to market intelligence as needed and build and maintain a market database within the assigned business areas.
- Market products ranges and service offerings.
- Present solutions for customer technical needs.
- Communicate with the Group Companies for products and support.

Budget
- Contribute to the drafting of the budget.

New products

With assistance from the Engineering department:

- Interface with customers regarding product approval process.
- Identify product improvement opportunities and introduction of new products and systems to the market.

Projects
- Manage signalling projects to meet technical, financial and completion date targets.
- Managing the signalling team to deliver customer requirements including during shut downs.

**Requirements**:

- A three year related Electrical Engineering qualification (electronic/light current) or equivalent qualification.
- An experience in railway signalling products and systems with at least 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
- Self-driven person who can take ownership and drive results.
- Superior presentation and communication skills.
- Bid preparation and project/product costing skills.
- Team player, but able to work independently too.

**Salary**: R968,000.00 per year
