Reporting to: Motion Systems Group Sales Leader

Job Purpose:
The individual is primarily responsible to develop Motion Systems Group/Divisions sales and market share within defined scope of responsibility. The employee strives to maintain and increase sales revenues with existing and new direct accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
To achieve or exceed the annual sales plan.

To work on and achieve a range of objectives that deliver breakthrough sales growth.

Cooperate within your team and together with all company resources to generate growth for overall. Work closely with clients and Divisions to provide motion systems solutions (Hydraulics).

Identifying the customers’ needs, wishes, requirements and identify business opportunities

Communicating information about company's products, systems and services through personal interaction with customers.

Designing, presenting and quote solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations

Coordinating efforts from groups, divisions, and sales organization - act as project managers

Searching and return relevant information about customers, markets and competitors

Submitting reports and completing required actions on time and to the required standard

Challenge the customer for maximum sales growth while obtaining good relations. Maintain and grow sales at existing customers utilising all the product lines available.

Active work with projects and opportunities in CRM to obtain updated Pipeline. Ensure key projects are documented in the relevant system, and sales tools/ processes are being used to ensure maximum sales value

Monthly report describing activities, sales and results towards defined targets

Forecasting of sales volumes when requested

Identify and win business at new customers within the SA market

Key Accountabilities:
The employee is accountable for developing markets, products and system solutions and well as customer sales with defined customers mainly by:
1. Identifying the customers’ needs, wishes, requirements and identify business opportunities
2. Communicating information about the company's products, systems and services through personal interaction with customers
3. Designing, presenting and quote solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations

**Inherent Requirements**

Engineering degree or equivalent or relevant work experience of 5 to 10 years.

5 -10+ years of product/solution marketing, product commercialization or product management experience with particular expertise and experience in motion and control (Hydraulic)

Experience in relevant technology

Technical Sales competence & skills

Must have demonstrated applicable product development and project management skills and experience
