**DISPATCH AND LOGISTICS TEAM LEADER | Operations**

**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Dispatch & Logistics Team Leader reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day execution of dispatch and logistics-related tasks in both CPT and JHB.

**DISPATCH RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Planning and execution of dispatch across multiple products.
- Execution of projects and ad hoc requests on the warehouse floor.
- Day to day problem solving for all things dispatch related.
- Inbound logistics warehouse communication.
- Logistics and customer service support on delivery day.
- Reporting to senior management.

**LOGISTICS RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Planning and execution of outbound logistics operations (this may be specific to a single product offering, or a group of product offerings)
- Planning and execution of inbound logistics
- Planning and execution on ad hoc requests for the Logistics Department
- Courier Integration and Communication
- On demand Integration
- Reporting on specific logistics-related activities (KPI sheets)
- Driving cost reduction and innovating on specific continuous improvement projects
- Co-ordinating logistics operations and tasks within the department
- Link between Customer service and courier companies
- Fleet management and fleet reporting
- Ensuring replacement vehicles are available when maintenance & servicing needs to be done
- Direct responsibility & supervision of CT & JHB dispatch teams.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualification & Experience**
- 3 years experience in the logistics space
- Experience in leading a team, in both remote and in-person environments
- Driver’s licence
- Advantageous_
- Tertiary qualification in logistics or related fields.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Must Have_
- Excel and Data Management proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership & People management, including coaching, training, delegation and performance management.
- Attention to detail
- Record keeping and data logging
- Initiative to drive improvement, ensure that standards are being met and improved.
- Systems planning and implementation.

Shifts:
Sunday-Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm

Must be willing to work overtime where required
