Logistics Manager

Our client, a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry leader, is seeking a **Logistics Manager** to oversee the entire logistics department in Cape Town.
The Logistics Manager must be on standby (according to the needs of the business).
**Salary**: R40 000 - R50 000 per Month CTC
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the QSR industry.
- Experience managing truck fleets, drivers, delivery, and dispatch operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and policies related to the logistics function.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that support the overall business goals and objectives.
- Manage the logistics team and oversee all aspects of the truck fleet, drivers, delivery, and dispatch.
- Manage the inventory control and distribution management processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies related to the logistics function.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve logistics efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Prepare and present logistics reports to senior management.
**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- logistics management, preferably in the QSR industry: 5 years (required)
