- Sales and/or marketing qualifications are desirable
- Working knowledge of the mining and exploration industry (industry experience in a technology sales role is a definite plus)
- Ability to drive revenue opportunities, expanding the utilisation of our technology by value adding to our customers
- Experience in conducting account research, account planning and account reviews is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Business to Business sales
- Communicate and present acQuire’s software solutions to a variety of stakeholders
- Proven negotiation skills
- Ability to manage client feedback and quickly resolve issues
- Be a strong team player, be highly motivated and a self-starter
- Possess a creative mindset with the ability to seek solutions
- Ability to gain rapport and build trust with people quickly
**The fine print of this gig**:
Your role will report to the Operations Manager and be based at our Johannesburg office in South Africa. You will be required to perform all aspects of account management, from regional strategy development, communicating our value proposition to all customers, forecasting, providing high level of customer service, maintaining and developing relationships with our existing customers, contract negotiations and pipeline management, through to negotiating and closing sales. Regular travel is required.
