Function:
To plan and co-ordinate the Materials planning, shipping and booking of all local and foreign components.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- To perform all aspects of the Drivetrain MRP system with current available planning tools.
- To analyse abnormal consumption rates and items in order to compile proposed action plans for Management approval.
- To place daily, weekly and monthly foreign orders after Management approvals.
- To manage continuous value analysis exercises with local suppliers to ensure that market related prices are maintained, and cost reduction benefits are obtained.
- Plan and keep track of the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate Bills Of Lading.
- Review purchase orders prior to releasing orders from the facility.
- Ensure quality of all services and processes within the logístical process.
- Report any problems, issues and losses to the Department Manager.
- Perform any other duties as required by Management.

**Inherent Requirements**
- High School Diploma (Grade 12/ National Senior Certificate) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Customer Service, Inventory Management and / or Logistics.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work overtime

**Skills**:

- Understanding planning, shipping, Warehouse management and inventory systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- Strong work values EG. Excellent time management, the ability to multitask, being dependable with a positive attitude.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to retrieve, analyse and input data.
- Excellent Mathematical ability.
- Outstanding organisational and co-ordination ability
