**Duties**
**General sales**
- Conducting needs analysis;
- Identifying contact persons from prospective clients and existing client base;
- Compiling a list of potential clients;
- Conducting client visits and giving presentations;
- Initiating cold calling;
- Representing the company at all relevant forums;
- Networking using internet, blogs, social media, forums;
- Building and maintaining relationships with with clients;
- Conducting needs analysis;
- Identifying contact persons from prospective clients and existing client base;
- Assist with Marketing functions.
**Compile client quotations**
- Allocating the client file to the administrative assistant;
- Ensure that a complete file is compiled with all relevant information;
- Prepare a comprehensive quotation for clients / prospective clients;
**Liaise with clients**
- Explaining the quotations to the client;
- Preparing letters of intent for clients;
- Providing feedback to clients and answering queries.
**Report on sale**
- Compiling sales figures;
- Reporting on sales activity targets.
**Assist on Tenders**
- Attending tender briefings;
- Submitting tenders.
