We’re Hiring: Technical Co-ordinator

Based in Maitland, Cape Town

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Technical Co-ordinator to join our team. This role is vital in supporting the technical department by managing daily operations, coordinating with clients and technicians, and ensuring the seamless delivery of technical services.

Minimum Requirements:

- Own reliable transport to and from Maitland
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
- Strong technical knowledge of alarm systems, CCTV systems, and other electronic security hardware
- Familiarity with the following products:
Alarm Systems: Paradox, AJAX, IDS, Texecom, DSC

CCTV Brands: Dahua, Hikvision, Provision
- Working knowledge of Listener alarm monitoring software
- Experience with Pastel (quoting, invoicing, stock control, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Strong leadership skills - able to lead a team and resolve challenges effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Must be proactive, solution-driven, and hands-on

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage and schedule technical job bookings
- Follow up on outstanding technical work and related payments
- Handle quotations and invoicing for clients
- Coordinate stock control: ordering, checking, and general upkeep
- Schedule and track technician training sessions
- Attend training sessions with technical staff where required
- Ensure transparent, effective communication between departments
- Act as the bridge between clients, technicians, and management
- Assist with customer service queries related to technical support
- Maintain and improve internal technical systems and processes

Has experience in a similar role within the security or technical industry

Is accountable, results-driven, and highly organized

Values teamwork but can also work independently

Has a positive attitude and excellent people skills

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
