An exciting vacancy for an **Internal Sales Consultant** at an established lighting company has become available. The role requires the incumbent to be organized, detail orientated and have good communication and Sales skills. You will be working at the showroom in Paarden Eiland and are required to have experience in the Lighting industry.

The position is a full time, in office position based in Paarden Eiland. You must have a clear credit history and positive reference letter from your previous employed. They are looking for someone to start soonest so if you are available immediately this will be an advantage.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work primarily out of the showroom to assist customers with their lighting requirements.
- Upsell at every possible opportunity by collecting as much information about the projects and professionals involved as possible
- Building, maintaining and consistently growing a strong client base.
- Source and develop prospective new clients to generate new business and optimize sales. This includes, but is not limited to making and reporting on the required number of cold calls by:

- phone,
- in person to their offices, factories and construction sites
- Read drawings and extract bill of quantities for lighting requirements
- Do lighting layouts /design (positioning of lights on a drawing) in accordance to the project’s requirements and industry best practices
- Do technical & architectural product specifications according to client requirements
- Communicate with clients at all stages of the project
- Submit clear quotations and proposals for current and prospective clients
- Reaching and exceeding monthly sales targets consistently.
- Researching and keeping up to date with lighting trends, technology and standards.
- Communicating with clients at all stages of the project
- In showroom visits, facilitation and presentation of products to existing and prospective clients.

**Qualifications, Educational Requirements and Skills**
- Matric
- Driver’s license.
- Previous sales experience
- Good communication skills
- A good understanding of space planning and design.
- Good sales technique.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
- Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
- Basic administration skills.
- Microsoft office
- Pastal

**Salary**: Up to R25,000.00 per month
