Marketing Administrator

A Medical Insurance Company based in Benoni, Gauteng is looking for a Marketing Administrator who will perform administrative duties within the marketing department. Some of the functions the Marketing Administrator will undertake is daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities, assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional and attend them to facilitate their success.
**Breakdown of Job Description and Tasks below**:
- Perform administrative duties
- Manage all print and marketing material orders/projects
- Digital marketing efforts
**Perform Administrative duties.**
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
- Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
**Manage all print and marketing material projects**
- Coordinate print projects and reporting as required by marketing manager
- Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional and attend them to facilitate their success
- Prepare and deliver promotional material
- Negotiate with suppliers to maintain cost effectiveness of printed material
**Digital marketing efforts**
- Schedule daily/weekly/monthly social media posts
- Work with copywriter to facilitate social media calendar.
- Reporting on all social media activities across all platforms and products.
**Essential Qualifications**
- Matric
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business or relevant field
**Essential Experience**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing Administrator/Assistant position
**Desirable Experience**
- Experience in an administrative function in a marketing department
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
- Good understanding of social media and digital marketing principles (SEO, etc)
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Outstanding communication and people skills
