**JOB OUTLINE**

**Marketing ADMINISTRATOR (MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS)**

**JOHANNESBURG NORTH**

**Department** - Marketing & Communications

**Reports to** - The Marketing & Communications Manager

**Competencies/Responsibilities**:
**Administration and Marketing Operations**:

- Managing newspaper subscriptions and distribution of publications
- Manage invoices and payments
- Liaise with suppliers
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- Manage and review filing and office systems
- Filing and compiling media collateral including recordings
- Take minutes in meetings
- Support stock-taking and systematic storage of all marketing collateral including banners.

**Office Support**:

- Assist with preparation for presentations, workshops and meetings
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments/marketing ratings etc. for the upper management
- Manage correspondence (inbound calls, letters, packages) for department
- Screen inbound & outbound calls and liaise with clients competently
- Update and circulate media, supplier and stakeholder databases

**Ad Hoc Ad-hoc activities**:

- Provide general administrative support around the office and within the team
- Support stakeholder and public relations activities

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience in a similar environment

**Qualifications**:

- Matric
- Certificate or diploma in marketing, secretarial work, administration or any other relevant qualifications
