Kitchen Manager

Restaurant in Stellenbosch requires a full time kitchen manager.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement menus, ensuring creativity and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, managing food costs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- be prepared to work industry hours which include late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- have a clean criminal record and contactable references.
- have your own reliable transport to commute to and from work.
A tertiary qualification and a first aid qualification will be advantageous.
