Position Description:
An internal sales person plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Achievement of daily sales / profit targets.
Carry out daily administration duties
To ensure the daily administrative tasks are processed.
To ensure that Metraclarks image is maintained and promoted within the market.
Liaison with existing customers/suppliers in a manner in which would further promote the profitability of the branch.
Compliance with relevant EH&S obligations.
To provide customers with technical support with respect to products.
To focus on the long-term growth and profitability of the branch, and achieve budgets as agreed with the Manager.
To build sound relationships with quality customers to facilitate the longer-term growth in the order book of the branch.
Daily cash up and any other duties that might be assigned from time to time.
Compliance to all Company Policies and Procedures.
Job Requirements:
Technical Experience Refrigeration and Air-conditioning equipment will be an advantage
Two years or more active Internal Sales Experience
Physical ability to handle stock
Computer Literacy Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Syspro
Experience in a Wholesale or Retail environment
Matric
