- Program, configure, and maintain digital learning systems (DLS) and related software.
- Ensure the proper functionality and uptime of the DLS system.
- Provide first-line technical support to users experiencing issues with alarm systems and digital learning tools.
- Change user codes and assist technicians remotely.
- Arm alarm systems after hours.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems in a timely manner.
- Assist with the integration of new digital learning technologies or software updates.
- Regularly monitor the performance of DLS platforms to identify potential issues.
- Conduct system diagnostics and perform routine maintenance checks to optimize performance and security.
- Analyse alarm signals/events to prevent potential incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of support issues, resolutions, and system updates.
- Report recurring technical issues to IT staff and recommend process improvements where necessary.
- Work closely with technical staff, suppliers, clients, control room operators, IT teams, and management to ensure the seamless delivery of digital learning services.
- Attend weekly and monthly client meetings to discuss system performance and enhancements.

Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:

- Proof of PSIRA certification.
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Specific knowledge/ experience and certification on CCTV and Access Control.
- Specific Knowledge on intruder alarms, CADDX, DSC, FBI, Telecom, IDS, PARADOX, COSMOS and ProSys Roko net Intrusion Systems.
- Sound Knowledge of IP CCTV.
- Sound Knowledge and understanding of CCTV System and Access Control, Fire, and Intrusion systems.
- Relevant experience in similar position advantageous.
- Excellent security equipment installation skills.
- Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent written &verbal communication skills.
- Own reliable transport.
