We are looking for a Systems Support Technician in the Renewable Energy (Solar) industry in Centurion:
Primary focus will be the repair and maintenance of batteries at complex customer sites, both locally and internationally as well as at the office.

This will include, but not limited to the basic setup of various inverters as well as battery failures, but also Support assistance and involvement on complex systems which includes multiple ancillary and peripheral equipment with multiple contracting parties.

Service work at our facilities will also be a part of the day-today functions. Remote client support and client reporting will be a critical responsibility. This individual will predominantly travel to customer sites to support, repair, commission and provide installation advice of equipment and complex systems, and usually work independently with little to no daily supervision.

Technical Diploma/Certificate or BTech - Electrical Engineering

? Electrician/Wiremen’s License/Red Seal as a minimum

? At least 5 years relevant experience in renewable energy
- Technical knowledge about products
- Computer literate
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficient in MS Office packages
- High level of system knowledge and understanding for effective support and maintenance functions Skills and Abilities (what must I be able to do / display)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to make limited decisions on technical matters within framework
- Building and Maintaining Relationships
- People skills and customer acumen
- Able to work in a team and alone
- Must be physically fit and able to travel and perform duties under harsh and possibly hazardous client site conditions and requirements
- Must be able to work
- and perform under pressure
- Must be able to handle and deal with conflict
- Comprehension of renewable systems which includes BESS
