The successful candidate will report to the Master Materials Scheduler at Adam Tas. Key performance areas include (but are not limited to): - Effective Supplier Relationship Management to ensure Purchase Orders are delivered On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) - Ensure accurate Vendor Records, material Master Data and Pricing - Create and or convert dependant Purchase Requisitions in SAP - Create Purchase Orders on SAP and effectively Communicate PO’s to Suppliers. - Confirm Delivery Dates and manage Delivery Status. - Assist with population of the Missing Parts report. - Run daily Procurement Routines and effectively and timeously manage Exception Messages. - Effectively managed material EOQ’s & MOQ’s. - Assist with the effective management of material Price Variances. - Analyse & take corrective action on Abnormal Purchase Requisitions (automated/manual). - Reduce Working Capital through optimized procurement practices. - Manage procurement routines for (NPD) & (PUG) post site handover. - Assist with site - Procurement Risk Management Routines and Control. - Perform the relevant Administration, Verification and Reporting functions - Actively participating in Planning Mini-Business and actively drives Continuous Improvement Initiatives The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills: - Tertiary qualification / NQF 6 (Focussing on Supply Chain Management and or Purchasing - 1-3 Years working experience in a procurement & buying environment - Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint. - Working knowledge of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) on an ERP suite (working knowledge of MRP on SAP MM), - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Previous experience in procurement & buying environment - Sound interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure. - Willingness to work extended hours if and when required. - Ability to analyse, interpret and compute sets of data - Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in an organized and structured manner. - Must have reliable transport to and from work.
