The Visa Consulting Senior Manager will deliver consulting support and projects to VISA's key clients across CEMEA. The main objective of the role is to help deepen client relationships and optimize and grow client performance by helping them define and implement strategies focused on the aforementioned. The areas of specialization that reside within the Digital and Commercial Practices include but are not limited to the following client types: Consumer and Commercial issuing banks.

Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area

1. Using VISA and external data to analyze client needs across the regions markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with VISA’s clients.
2. In coordination with regional VCA teams, Country Managers and Account Executives, develop plans for consulting activity to secure funds from partnership agreements to support Consulting projects where such agreements exist.
3. Support the development of project pitches and secure new Consulting assignments with clients, as well as re-engagement opportunities via a consultative sales approach in assigned markets under the guidance of the HUB lead and regional consulting leads.
4. Deliver Consulting projects. Resolve complex strategic problems. Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required. Manage, facilitate and implement consulting services and meet client's business targets (assignment objectives, project scope, budget, paperwork, external consultants' supervision and project delivery). Work closely with other VISA groups, including Product, Marketing, Merchant Services etc., to ensure a seamless Consulting experience.
5. Work on client site and/or virtually to design and project manage the implementation of marketing campaigns, value propositions, products and services when required.
6. Work with practice area globally to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other services and leverage global consulting solutions.
7. Contribute to a repository of leading practices, new trends, business models and case studies to ensure that relevant information is accessible and up to date.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Ideally 8-10 years in top tier consulting firm specialized in financial services.
3. Ideally have experience in the following areas: Strategy, digital, consumer and/or business banking experience.
4. Strong facilitation skills.
5. Expertise in consulting skills and client engagement capabilities. Advanced client contact and presentation skills. Credibility with clients and working teams and diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients and VISA.
6. Highly analytical with advanced PowerPoint skills and Excel skills.
7. Superior project management skills. Fluent communicator.
8. Must have financial acumen and commercial awareness skills.
9. Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused.
10. Able to travel frequently and work on client site for extended periods across CEMEA.
11. Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction.
12. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups.
13. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
14. Fluency in English mandatory.
