About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Retirement Consultant to join our team in Sandton, focusing on client management and providing exceptional services to a portfolio of clients.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for consulting with clients, providing advice, and ensuring seamless project management to meet their needs. You will establish strong relationships with key decision-makers, service providers, and colleagues, ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting with a portfolio of clients to provide tailored advice and guidance;
  • Managing client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and timely communication;
  • Developing annual year plans for each client, aligned with deliverables and SLAs;
  • Reviewing agendas for management committee meetings, ensuring distribution as per SLA;
  • Negotiating with insurers and service providers to secure optimal solutions for clients;
  • Identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to enhance client value;
  • Ensuring timely response to queries from colleagues and updating internal management systems;
  • Coaching and developing junior team members to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in a retirement fund consulting role, preferably within a multinational environment;
  • Clear and concise oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;
  • RE 05 (Representatives Exam) certification and FAIS compliance;
  • Strong numerical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and negotiation skills to handle complex situations;
  • Excellent organization skills and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, estimated at approximately R800,000 – R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect:
