Job Overview

The Goscor Group is seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales team in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving regional sales and profitability goals.

This role involves providing quality leadership, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving market share within the geographical region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead internal and external customers in assigned tasks while upholding company values.
  • Achieve regional revenue and profitability quotas for the company's products.
  • Establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
  • Sell value and solutions to customers.
  • Direct selling activities within the region, including resource deployment and customer interactions.
  • Prioritise effectively according to corporate objectives.
  • Responsible for regional forecasting and sales tracking.
  • Set vision for the region and develop a business plan to attain this vision.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Post-matric qualification preferred, supported by 5 years of sales experience.
  • Previous sales experience in MHE in the Western Cape region preferred.
  • Proven record of achievement in a prior sales position.
  • Strong closing skills and prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.
  • Proven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and retain product-specific information and utilise it to present features and benefits to customers.
  • Knowledge of the Lift Truck industry a plus.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Readiness for extensive travel in the region.
