Job Description

The OUTsurance Broker will play a critical role in growing and developing our business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. This will involve selling personal lines and commercial lines through prospecting and canvassing for new business sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow the business insurance portfolio.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Commercial team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate.
  • Valid code B driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment.
  • Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management, and opening doors.

Additional Requirements for FAIS Representatives

  • FAIS credits or full insurance qualifications (depending on Dofa).
  • RE5 (depending on Dofa).
