Key Responsibilities:- Source and generate a minimum of 10 client quotes per week and 40 per month through various lead generation channels.
- Meet or exceed the minimum requirement of 8.5 written policies per month.
- Maintain and update the Lead Generation Matrix on a weekly basis to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses and provide professional advice to clients to ensure they receive the best insurance solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with lead referral agents to ensure a steady stream of high-quality leads.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports that reflect leads, quotes, and sales, as well as the source of the leads, average premium, total premium, and other relevant information.
- Stay up-to-date with product comparisons, MI product changes, and enhancements to provide expert advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations, standards, and professional guidelines and ethics.
- Maintain the required skills and knowledge to provide specialist, professional advice in all relevant business areas.
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- FAIS Credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or a full recognized qualification as per the FSCA qualification list if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010.
- FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5).
- 12 CPD points.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in selling short-term insurance as a broker agent or tied agent.
- Call center agents are not preferred unless they have a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- All required regulatory exams and accreditation.
- One year's proof of commission earnings (minimum R10 000.00 pm).
- Candidate must have their own transport (CAR) and license.
- Extensive knowledge of the Short-Term Insurance Industry.
