**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Export Controller to join our client's Johannesburg branch. As an Export Controller, you will be responsible for handling export shipments within clearing and forwarding, with a focus on airfreight and seafreight.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage export shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
* Coordinate with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process
* Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies
* Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

**Requirements**

* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in an Export Controller role within clearing and forwarding, handling airfreight and seafreight
* Matriculation certificate
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
