About the Role

We are recruiting a Regional Sales Representative (Agent) to join our team at Complement Recruitment in White River, Mpumalanga.

This permanent position comes with benefits, a R40 000 basic salary, company car, provident fund, and medical insurance for the employee only.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive sales growth and expand market share within the region.
  2. Maximise sales baskets and build relationships with customers and partners.

Requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualification in Sales and Marketing or a similar trade.
  2. Experience in cementitious / powder based products.
  3. Minimum of 5 years in a sales role.
  4. Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

  1. Proven track record of success in sales with at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong communication skills.
  3. Experience in managing key customer accounts and developing long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  4. Ability to work within a high-performance culture organisation.
  5. Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
Key Areas of Responsibility
  1. Work to achieve set sales targets, profitability, and objectives.
  2. Frequent travel throughout the region.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, assess competitive threats, and understand customer needs and preferences.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, partners within the region, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse sales data, and prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall company strategies and objectives.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and ethical standards, as well as relevant regulations and laws governing sales activities within the region.
  8. Manage customer complaints (investigation and resolution), credits and queries.
  9. Assist with collection of amounts due from customers when necessary.
