Business Development Representative

Job Summary:
The Building Company is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to provide an external presence in the building materials market. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Provide technical support and resolve customer queries in a timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth
- Communicate agreements and sales performance with relevant personnel
- Generate new business opportunities through project buying with suppliers
- Ensure profitability and growth strategies are upheld and promoted
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5-7 years experience in accounts management
- Experience working in a customer service-oriented environment
- Proven ability to create, maintain and enhance client relationships
- Experience in project buying with suppliers
- Computer literacy in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and own transport
