Agricultural Learning Program Manager

Fempower is seeking an experienced Agricultural Learning Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of educational programs for farmers within our organization. This role requires a strong background in learning and development, as well as experience in agricultural farm business management.

About the Role:

The Agricultural Learning Program Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing educational programs that meet the needs of our farmers. This includes designing and developing training curriculum, programs, and blended learning solutions to address skills required for business success. The ideal candidate will have a post-graduate qualification in Human Resources with Learning and Development and at least 5 years of experience in designing and developing learning programs and courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Design and develop training curriculum, programs, and blended learning solutions to address skills required for business success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, such as Supply Chain, to ensure training programs meet the requirements and expectations of the Bank and its stakeholders.
  • Farmer Support: Recruit farmers within the organization from Blended Finance into educational programs.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Define clear objectives for the Academy and measurable outcomes for each program.

Requirements:

  • Post Graduate Qualification: Post graduate qualification in Human Resources with Learning and Development.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing learning programs and courses, 5 years managerial level of experience in learning and development/training, and 5 years experience in agricultural farm business management.
  • Critical Competencies: Policies and Procedures, Business Environment, Skills Development, Curriculum Design, Legislation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Agricultural Industry Knowledge: Knowledge / Experience of the Agricultural Industry.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ability to ensure all governance and compliance requirements are met with the aim to eliminate potential inappropriate and corrupt practices.
