About the Role

This role involves administering, developing, and customizing Moodle, ensuring seamless integration with cloud-based hosting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of e-learning standards, such as SCORM and xAPI, and experience working with different LMS platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering and configuring Moodle to meet the needs of our clients;
  • Developing and customizing Moodle plugins and themes to enhance user experience;
  • Ensuring data security and integrity by implementing robust backup and recovery procedures;
  • Maintaining and upgrading Moodle installations to ensure they remain compatible with changing industry standards;
  • Providing exceptional customer support and training to end-users on how to effectively utilize Moodle features;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements within our business operations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A matric certificate;
  • Beneficial to have Moodle Educator Certification or Moodle Partner Certification;
  • At least 3 years of experience with administration, development, and customization of a LMS in a business or educational environment;
  • Familiarity with cloud-based Moodle hosting solutions and knowledge of relevant security requirements;
  • Experience with data management and query building.
