Job Description- Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, teach, and co-teach face-to-face and distance lessons, delivering academic and extracurricular programs.
- Collaborate with grade-level and subject-area colleagues to develop engaging learning experiences and implement individualized behavior and learning plans.
- Participate actively in professional development sessions, staying up-to-date with best practices and innovations in education.
- Analyze data to track student progress, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
- Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections.
- Develop and monitor programs to support underperforming scholars or extend opportunities for high-achievers.
- Contribute to place-based education initiatives and career pathways education, enriching the school curriculum.
- Implement SPARK culture and behavior management strategies, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Fluency in English language
- Bachelor's degree or PGCE in Social Sciences/History (SP and FET Phase)
- 2-3 years of experience in a high school context
- SACE registration
- Clean criminal record
