Production Planning Specialist

The Master Scheduler is responsible for analysing and understanding customer requirements to ensure they are reflected in production activities. This includes levelling production floor activities to meet customer demands.
Main responsibilities:
- Analyse customer needs and develop action plans to improve delivery performance.
- Track and manage the achievement of customer delivery programs, including managing alerts and following up with transportation and delivery teams.
- Prepare Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reports on a monthly basis to ensure proper volume levels and resource optimisation.
- Develop and implement Master Production Schedules (MPS) on a weekly basis to ensure level production plans and make provisions for variations in customer demand.
- Monitor MPS adherence in volume and mix, initiate improvement initiatives, and maintain a continuous improvement cycle.
- Manage pool and safety stock levels to ensure efficient inventory management.
