Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Level-Up, an innovative FMCG warehousing company. As an HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive human resources services to employees across multiple levels within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for warehouse and office positions.
  • Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the company culture and operations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and contribute to workforce planning initiatives.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on HR-related inquiries, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and prompt resolution of any concerns.
  • Provide expert guidance on company policies, procedures, and employee benefits.
  • Support managers in handling employee performance issues, conduct coaching sessions, and recommend appropriate interventions.
Training and Development
  • Identify training needs and develop customized training programs to enhance employee skills, productivity, and safety.
  • Coordinate internal and external training sessions to improve performance and career growth.
  • Assist in delivering safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Process employee changes, promotions, and terminations, including updating HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Administer payroll data, absenteeism records, and other HR-related documentation accurately and on time.
Compliance and Policies
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Contribute to conducting internal audits to verify compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes to labor laws and HR best practices, implementing necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.
Employee Engagement and Culture
  • Support initiatives to foster employee engagement, including team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting open communication, transparency, and teamwork.
  • Assist in organizing employee feedback surveys and suggest improvements based on results.
Health and Safety
  • Collaborate with safety officers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Assist in incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent future safety issues.
HR Reporting and Analytics
  • Prepare and present HR reports and metrics related to staffing, turnover, training, and other HR activities to leadership.
  • Track key HR data, including attendance, overtime, and productivity, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are highly valued.
  • Experience
    • 2-4 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in an FMCG, logistics, or warehousing environment.
    • Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
    • Previous experience in managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and payroll processing is essential.
  • Skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
    • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
    • Good understanding of safety and compliance requirements in a warehousing or manufacturing setting.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
