About the Role

The Branch Manager at ACDC Dynamics is a strategic leader responsible for planning and directing the day-to-day operations of the Branch. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, sales growth, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
  • Lead a high-performance sales team to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
  • Forecast staffing needs and develop a recruiting strategy to provide optimal staffing in all areas.
  • Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage, motivate, and improve the team to achieve company goals.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing programs to increase sales and grow the existing customer base.
  • Ensure high store standards and conditions are maintained, and a positive environment is fostered.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar role.
  • Electrical or Electronics background is advantageous.
  • Experience managing a high-performance sales team.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent customer service attitude with strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Ability to travel as and when required.
  • Demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends.
  • Ability to provide market intelligence to the sales team.
  • Performance, growth, and development of the independent sales force.
  • Delivering strategies to optimize sales force performance.
  • Anticipating business needs, identifying strategies to capitalize on opportunities, and mitigate business risks.
  • Developing goals, KPIs, and objectives and executing against the company's vision.
  • Evaluating performance and productivity and identifying remedial action when required.
Qualifications
  • A postgraduate degree or its equivalent in Electrical or Electronics, Sales, Marketing, or a closely related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Essential: 7-10 years' experience in sales within a manufacturing environment - Electrical will be advantageous.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior sales managerial capacity.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, AccPacc, Syspro).
