The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and proficiency in Sage 300 (back-end to front-end) and Microsoft Excel. With a minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, specifically with Sage 300, the successful candidate will be able to handle complex payroll and tax issues with ease.

As a key member of our finance team, the Payroll Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing general payroll administration activities, importing payroll information into the system accurately and efficiently, reconciling payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance, and preparing and distributing monthly payroll reports.

Additionally, the Payroll Bookkeeper will support HR and finance with tax submissions, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance with South African labour and tax laws. The successful candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or HR, or related field (advantageous).

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, specifically with Sage 300.
  • In-depth knowledge of SARS and BCEA legislation and requirements.
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or HR, or related field (advantageous).
