About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Organisational Design Expert to join our team at Tiger Brands.

\

As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive reward and recognition strategy that balances employee engagement and organisational profitability.

\

You will support the Performance & Reward Director in driving the operational execution of the annual regular remuneration review process and all other reward and recognition initiatives.

\

Your expertise in designing and implementing organisational design frameworks will enable you to drive the development of a standardised approach together with relevant processes, tools, and guidelines.

\

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Reward & Recognition strategy that balances employee engagement and organisational profitability\
  • Support the Performance & Reward Director in driving the operational execution of the annual regular remuneration review process\
  • Drive the implementation of a comprehensive organisational design framework\
  • Collate remuneration data, finalise agenda items, prepare and distribute reports and packs for different stakeholders\
  • Conduct regular reviews of fixed and variable pay scheme rules and oversee administration thereof\
  • Ensure correct interpretation and compliance with applicable legislation (e.g. BCEA, UIF, Tax etc.)\
  • Manage expatriate remuneration and keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practice\
  • Be accountable for the design and development of the organisational design practices and standards in the organisation\
  • Design and deliver organisational design solutions to meet business needs\
  • Upskill and create toolkits to ensure the HR community and managers understand the organisational design methodology, governance and principles\
  • Govern the organisational design framework and manage staff establishment and head count reporting across the group\
  • Measure competitiveness of remuneration framework, legislative compliance, alignment of organisational framework to business strategy and company's compliance with standards and guidelines\
  • Evaluate efficiency of tools and processes\
  • Influence across functions and different stakeholders\
  • Provide strong insight of designing an organisation and how various aspects impact the overall success of a company\

      • Influencing and negotiation skills – with an ability to influence across functions and different stakeholders\
      • OD expert – strong insight of designing an organisation and how various aspects impact the overall success of a company\
      • Deep understanding of different compensation / recognition elements and the options to shape them\
      • Strong and proven financial acumen\
