Senior Sales Professional

At Dimension Data, we are committed to unlocking the potential of our clients and communities across the Middle East and Africa. As a Senior Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.
As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for consulting with clients to understand their business needs and identifying opportunities to provide value-added solutions. You will develop and execute sales strategies to expand your customer base and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business needs and apply product knowledge to meet their requirements
- Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining a thorough knowledge of technical specifications and features of our products and services
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and follow-up interactions
- Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of our software solutions to clients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest software and hardware systems and peripherals, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth
- Develop and implement effective sales plans using proven sales methodologies
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by management and contribute to team targets
- Network with existing clients to maintain relationships and promote additional products and services
- Resolve hardware or software issues and escalate to technical specialists as needed
- Respond to client requests, proposals, and supporting literature
- Manage workload to prioritize daily and weekly goals and contribute to team meetings to update colleagues
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in a technology or services environment
- Strong understanding of IT Managed Services and solution-based selling
- Demonstrable experience of sales over-achievement and complex solution selling
- Prior experience of selling to C-Level clients and resolving issues creatively
- Excellent networking skills with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and apply negotiation skills methodologies
- Experience in WAN/LAN solution selling
