About the Role

At Dimension Data, we are committed to unlocking the potential of our clients and communities across the Middle East and Africa. As a Senior Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.

As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for consulting with clients to understand their business needs and identifying opportunities to provide value-added solutions. You will develop and execute sales strategies to expand your customer base and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' business needs and apply product knowledge to meet their requirements
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining a thorough knowledge of technical specifications and features of our products and services
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and follow-up interactions
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of our software solutions to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software and hardware systems and peripherals, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth
  • Develop and implement effective sales plans using proven sales methodologies
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by management and contribute to team targets
  • Network with existing clients to maintain relationships and promote additional products and services
  • Resolve hardware or software issues and escalate to technical specialists as needed
  • Respond to client requests, proposals, and supporting literature
  • Manage workload to prioritize daily and weekly goals and contribute to team meetings to update colleagues

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in a technology or services environment
  • Strong understanding of IT Managed Services and solution-based selling
  • Demonstrable experience of sales over-achievement and complex solution selling
  • Prior experience of selling to C-Level clients and resolving issues creatively
  • Excellent networking skills with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and apply negotiation skills methodologies
  • Experience in WAN/LAN solution selling
