Retail Account Manager

Circana is seeking a highly skilled Retail Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our client team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our wholesale retail clients, leveraging innovative insights to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Support clients by producing high-quality insights from ad-hoc requests and supplied briefs.
- Refresh weekly insights reports on the Unify+ technology platform.
- Deliver quarterly forum presentations to various retailer departments and categories.
- Build a deep understanding of the industry, clients, and the South African FMCG landscape.
- Liaise with internal Circana departments to ensure smooth client and supplier platform operations.
- Support the widespread adoption of Circana solutions within retailers' organizations.
- Tertiary education.
- 5+ years of experience in FMCG data analytics, with a track record in point of sale and category management analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with comfort working with large datasets.
- Ability to articulate complex technical knowledge in a simple, impactful manner.
- Effective team player with proven ability to work remotely and onsite with clients across virtual and diverse teams.
- Strong project and workload management skills, with proactive management of internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Able to engage in consultative manner with clients at all levels, helping solve/manage content deliverables and critical business challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt communication style to audience and understand/respond to another's point of view.
- Demonstrated resilience and sound judgment in dealing with business and corporate challenges and change.
- Strong commercial acumen and appreciation of contractual obligations.
