Main Job Function:

Armstrong Appointments seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from development to commercial operation. The successful candidate will oversee project activities from conceptual design to completion and handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage renewable energy projects from initial business development to commercial operation.
  2. Lead and execute project activities from conceptual design to completion.
  3. Oversee project teams and ensure effective communication.
  4. Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
  6. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
  7. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  8. Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or related field.
  2. PMI certification is essential.
  3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering and construction, power generation, renewable energy, or large industrial engineering and construction facilities.
  4. Regular driver's license required.
  5. Ability to travel for short-term and long-term periods, both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Strong knowledge of construction and supply agreements (e.g., FIDIC).
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  4. Ability to manage and implement procedural changes.
  5. Skilled in cash flow, financial modeling, taxes, and budget management.
  6. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, and SAP.
  7. Aptitude to switch to different technologies (wind, solar, geo, hydro, and biomass).
