Job Title: Expert Project Manager for Renewable Energy Development

Eskom Communications, a leading energy provider in South Africa, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development of renewable energy projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with expertise in project management, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Your primary responsibility will be to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, business case analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and business case analysis to identify opportunities and risks associated with renewable energy projects.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and government officials, to secure necessary approvals and agreements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

Benefits:

You will enjoy a competitive salary range of R850,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, commensurate with your qualifications and experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, life insurance, and retirement savings.
