The position provides an ideal opportunity for a dynamic individual with the required qualities to develop a rewarding career within a progressive organization. The incumbent will be required to build on existing customers to secure repeat and to identify new business opportunities in the market.

We are looking for someone who is extremely strong, must be a hunter and think on their feet

Highly presentable and excellent business ethics

MUST HAVE A PROVEN STABLE TRACK RECORD IN SALES AND MARKETING

Key responsibilities of the position include:

Planning and implementing effective sales strategies to secure business and achieve sales targets;

Planning weekly sales activities, including prospecting activity, in accordance with set objectives;

Analyzing customer requirements to identify value add opportunities;

Ensuring enquiry specifications are according to customer and Company requirements;

Presenting structured proposals relating to customer requirements;

Establishing excellent professional business relationships with customers;

Establishing excellent working relationships within all relevant departments of the Company;

Adhering to Company business and trading policies;

Reporting on sales activities and provide relevant operational and market information as required.

Essential personal criteria:

A matric qualification or the equivalent;

A valid drivers license and reliable motor vehicle;

Computer literacy in Word and Excel, and a high level of numeracy;

The ability to work according to strict deadlines;

A methodical, analytical approach, with fanatical attention to detail.

A professional appearance;

A successful track record in sales. Experience in print or related markets could be an advantage;

A strong customer service orientation and the ability to develop strategic customer relationships;

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff at all levels;

Competent at independently planning and managing own sales initiatives and activities;

A self-motivated, energetic and persistent character who can identify and secure new business;

A passion for winning new business and exceeding customer expectations.
