About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Manager to join our team at E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
    • Coordinate and manage the activities of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Site Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
    • Monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Verify and approve contract management accounts and final verification of Contract Reconciliation Sheets.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
    • Monitor and control the quality of work, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Environmental and Safety Management
    • Develop and implement environmental and safety plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
    • Monitor and control environmental and safety risks, including waste management and site security.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and technicians.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Registered as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr CM).
  • Experience
    • 20+ years of experience in civil construction management, project coordination, and site supervision.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Ability to monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
    • Strong quality control and assurance skills, including compliance with quality standards and regulations.
    • Ability to develop and implement environmental and safety plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
