Business Systems and Automation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems and Automation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the optimization, integration, and automation of our business systems, ensuring seamless workflows and maximum efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize all business systems, including Netsuite, Google Workspace, Shopify, Rippling, Close CRM, and others.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across departments, implementing automation solutions to save time and effort.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of new systems, gathering user input, evaluating solutions, and training the team.
  • Design and implement workflows that streamline operations across departments, using tools like Zapier, Integromat, or other low-code platforms.
  • Spec out custom development when needed, owning the process from concept to completion.
  • Train the team on new systems and processes, creating clear documentation and ensuring everyone is up to speed.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, researching new systems, tools, and best practices for business process automation and bringing new ideas to the table.


Requirements:

  • Experience in business systems management and automation, ideally across multiple departments and functions.
  • Automation expertise, with hands-on experience with tools like Zapier, Integromat/Make, Celigo Integrator.io, etc.
  • Process and systems thinking, with the ability to create processes that make people's lives easier and help the business run more efficiently.
  • Independent problem-solving, with the ability to diagnose problems, design solutions, and implement them with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical systems and processes to non-technical team members.
  • Remote work-ready, with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with developers, including specing out technical solutions for automation that requires custom code.
  • Startup or high-growth experience, with comfort working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Excel and Google Sheets expertise, with proficiency in data management and reporting.


Technical Skills:



  • NetSuite proficiency is crucial, with a steep learning curve and complex system.
  • Close.com CRM experience is beneficial, but less important due to its ease of use.
  • integrator.io/Silego experience is highly valued, particularly for NetSuite-specific integrations.
  • Zapier expertise is beneficial, indicating a strong automation mindset.
  • E-commerce background is helpful but not required.
