Job Title: Commercial Insure Adviser

About the Role:

The Commercial Insure Adviser will be responsible for providing assistance to the Advisors at The Recruitment Council. This position will focus on personal and commercial lines business, requiring a strong understanding of insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather policy information and compile a summary of relevant details.
  • Handle new applications and quotations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Respond to client enquiries and resolve any existing business-related issues.
  • Arrange appointments between Insure Advisers and clients to facilitate effective communication.
  • Manage administrative documentation, maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain Service Level Agreement deadlines, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery.
  • Manage policy renewals, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Successful completion of the RE 5 Examination (Representatives).
  • NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification or studying towards.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience within the Insurance industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong administration, organization, and planning skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Highly reliable, adaptable, and resilient.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
