Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Broker to join our team at First Risk and Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd. As an Administration Broker, you will play a critical role in providing assistance with the preparation and submission of settlements and other general clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, financiers, and insurers to provide assistance with the preparation and submission of settlements and other general clerical duties.
  • Achieve net profit growth for the business by identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
  • Manage own development to increase own competencies and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Gather and distribute relevant business information to support informed decision-making.
  • Provide sales support efficiencies and services to ensure retention of clients.
  • Control the effective service for settlements in the business through insurance claims.
  • Resolve all customer queries efficiently and within agreed timelines.
  • Maintain expert knowledge on specific products, pricing, application procedure, processing, and timelines to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
  • Manage existing clients and grow portfolio through making contact and generating leads.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff members.
  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
  • Manage costs/expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Related Degree or Diploma.
  • 1 year's related experience (broker/underwriting).
  • Must have experience in Commercial and Personal Lines.
  • Fully FAIS compliant (RE5).
  • Short-term insurance experience.
  • Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
  • In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
